Bella Italia

As can be seen from their website,
Bella Italia operate under the slogan :

Caffe Bar Ristorante

In all other respects the outlets are classed as
restaurants; although very successful and
well-patronised at that.

As for Bar :
The menus refer to drinks only as Wines; mainly white.
There is no reason to think that Real Ales would ever
be stocked, and the chance of getting any beers
would appear to be low.

Of course, the acid test is :
can you pop in and just get a drink?!?

Of the three restaurants in the City (as of late-2009)
two have been set up in former pubs, and one is in
the new area known as Riverside :-

Former Norfolk Tavern, Exchange Street
Former Coach & Horses, Red Lion Street
Branch in Riverside, at Wherry Road (West)

It is worth noting that Bella Italia and Café Rouge
are both parts of an empire called Tragus Ltd.

Tragus claim to be 'independent' -
presumably of any brewery.
