A change of management in September 2009 has seen
a change of pub-layout, amongst other improvements. The managers were a husband and wife team, from Blackpool : Mr. and Mrs. Southworth. This was followed by a change of lessees and licensees
After a brief closure on 30th January 2010,
Sadly, by early January 2011 the pub had closed.

The squat had concluded by 1st March.
New tenants took over on 13th April.
The new landlords will be focussing on the food

The transformation to Marsh Harrier in June 2002 cost £1 million; as confirmed by the owners in 2011. They now claim that part of their range of buildings is Victorian. Sadly, Adrian Hennessy reported in June 2003
that there was no real ale on offer.
