My pal Raymond Peter Hardy was landlord
from October 1977 to November 1986.
The freehouse status seemed to have resumed before*
David Gordon Breen-Turner became landlord
on 1st October 1991.
By February 1995 he was indeed listed as owner.
BUT Nationwide Finances (East) Recoveries
later took charge.

The pub was offered for sale in October 2000,
and closed on 16th December 2001.
It has been converted into flats.
