City Centre : East of the Castle

Division 1 : Area 7

Lads' Club : group 9

. . . 11 pubs in this group . . . none still serving.

Meaning of symbols

Although the Club has passed into history, like the pubs, it has
dominated this part of King Street for most of the 20th Century.

The district begins at Rose Lane, and ends at Mountergate
(Howard House) and Stepping Lane.

The two corner pubs at the Northern end : the ancient Rose and the
Builders' Arms have already been included in Group 8 (Rose Lane).

Listing
The pubs are listed from Rose Lane,
except for the final (unlocated) entry.
