Division 1 : Area 7

Anglia : group 6

. . . 9 pubs in this group . . . 2 still serving.

Meaning of symbols

This is Anglia Television, not Anglia Square !!.
Anglia TV has long dominated :-
  • that part of King Street lying between
Prince of Wales Road and Rose Lane
            (on one side anyway); and
  • Crown Road, running (very roughly)
            in parallel with King Street.
The Agricultural Hall (1882) and its modern extensions
are situated on what was an open space, namely the
original Castle Meadow.

Listing
The pubs are listed from the vicinity of the former Shirehall,
along Crown Road to the Rose Lane crossroads.
King Street pubs then follow, starting back at Prince of Wales Road.
