New Mu/ The Hub : 93 King Street
Notes ..

The re-launch as The Hub, circa 17th July 2009,
has 'upgraded' the former café bar to a licensed
restaurant.
As normal, only bottled beers are available.

The premises were not originally open at weekends.
Breakfast is served from 9 a.m. to midday;
and lunch until 3 p.m. on weekdays.

From September 2009 breakfasts are also served
on Saturday mornings and supper from Tuesday
to Friday inclusive.
Supper meals are from 5 p.m. with the
last orders at 8 p.m.

A wine shop and delicatessen are expected
to open shortly. [11th Sept. 2009]

In a generally positive Press review, it was pointed out
that some dishes were priced on the 'high side' and
that a bottle of London Pride at £3.95 was certainly steep.
[28th June 2010]

Closure by 21st August 2010 has resulted indirectly
from the collapse of the finance for the
St. Anne's Wharf housing scheme.

This, in turn, protracts the delay in restoring
Howard House; which, in turn, continues the
blockage of Mountergate - hard by the Hub premises.
