Meaning of symbols

These pubs are not really of the Market itself; in that
they are (rather, have always been) separated from the
stalls by the famous wide boulevard - now the City's prime "pedestrian way".

Also included is the alleyway leading to Castle Street,
known as "Old Post Office Court".

 
The drawings on pages 125/126 of
COTMAN & HAWCROFT :
Old Norwich are probably wrong in referring to the
Three Tuns i.e. the Post Office.
