There are five columns on each page of the "Dictionary".

Words in bold & red, in column two, are those which are allocated a different use (or uses) in Norfolk; and, as such, are especially important. Click on the Chapter/Paragraph code in the first column to provide an explanation of the Norfolk usage.

• Otherwise, in column two, are the Norfolk equivalent words -
  the first column being ordinary English words, in ABC order.
   
• The third column gives Norfolk pronunciation, where distinct :
  this is in green italics - with the "at" symbol @ - denoting
  the ubiquitous "Northern mid-u" sound.
   
• Finally, in column 4 or 5, click on the Chapter/Paragraph
  codes; to obtain more details and background information.
